Aine

The image is a metaphor of tranquility in the artist’s universe.

Aine is the Celtic goddess of sovereignty, beauty, love and summer glow, and according to other sources, the Fairy Queen, mother of Merlin.
The name Aine (pronounced AHN-yah) has several meanings: good, bright, joy, splendor, brilliance and glory. She is said to carry a harp, and when her music falls on worthy ears, the listener is possessed by divine inspiration. However, if those who hear it are unworthy, they flee as soon as they hear its enchanting melody. One of Aine’s most important lessons is to love ourselves. ‘You can never truly love another person until you love yourself. Be proud of yourself and never deny your thoughts.’ It can teach even proud and strong adults how to be sensitive and gentle. Call on her when you need courage or reassurance to take a risk.
