ZOOMER open studio (06.04.2024)

On 6 April 2024, Krisztina Major’s biodiverZOOM series made its debut at a spring welcoming open studio programme.

In the spacious showroom and creative space, the artist’s previous works were also exhibited.

Visitors attended a friendly after-lunch event with guided tours in the more than 500 m2 studio in Biatorbágy, Tópark.

Among the participants were more than 10 contemporary artists, who continued to work on the painter’s 2×2 meter large abstract canvas, created especially for this event, as a collaborative work.

As a closing chord, the artist sealed her canvas with a final coat of paint in a performance. The collaborative work was created on the melodies of Oasis track Live forever’s debut of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds – Live forever Radio 2 Session (2023).

The artwork will be signed by the artists and will be placed to a renowned Hungarian art collection, courtesy of a member of the participating art collectors’ club.
