The story of the flood in the Bible can be found in the first book of Moses. According to the narrative, the wickedness of the modern world had reached its limit, and God cleansed the earth of moral impurity by a flood. Only god fearing Noah and his family escaped the flood that destroyed mankind.
There may have been a real basis for the flood story, which could be explained by the great flooding that accompanied the melting of the ice sheet.
Visual world: humanity was devastated by a flood, a ship was built to escape and the core of humanity survived to keep the species alive.
